“Aaliyah was the quiet, sweet one. She was always laughing at whatever I did or I would say something and she would be standing behind me like “you said that out loud!” She was very shy, she always kept her shades on when we were out. Brandy always did everything the right way, she was taught to say things the right way, do things the right way. So it was great because all 3 of us were different.

I’ve never heard another singer that sounds like Brandy, her tone is so unique, when you hear her sing you know it’s her. The exact same thing goes for Aaliyah, ‘At Your Best’ came on the radio the other night and it just made me feel. I hadn’t really thought about how much I missed just seeing Aaliyah, bumping into her and being around her. Listening to it, there’s nobody that sounds like Aaliyah or reminds me of her at all, nobody.”
